Two new UK-bound AION models set for reveal on GAC’s 2026 Paris motor show stand
- Global debut of new model, coming to the UK in spring 2027
- GS7 large SUV to expand AION’s UK line-up with brand’s first PHEV
- GAC and Chelsea Football Club to officially sign a global automotive partnership on the stand, with Chelsea legend Claude Makélélé in attendance
- GAC press conference will take place on Monday 12 October at 10:25 am, Hall 5.1
London, 9 October 2026 – AION is to make its debut at the Paris Motor Show next week, where parent company GAC will reveal two new additions to its European line-up during a press conference on Monday 12 October at 10:25 am in Hall 5.1.
The new GS7 – the brand’s first plug-in hybrid for the UK market – combines high-quality design with the space and comfort of a larger SUV.
GS7 will be joined by an all-new addition to the AION range, with further details to be announced at the show. Both models will arrive in the UK during 2027.
The company’s show stand will also host another significant moment for the brand. GAC and Chelsea Football Club will officially sign their global automotive partnership in Paris. To mark the occasion, Chelsea legend Claude Makélélé will make a special appearance on the stand at 14:30.
AION Auto UK launched in the UK earlier this year as part of parent company GAC’s significant international expansion plans, and recently added a second model to its UK line-up with the arrival of the AION UT hatchback. AION Auto UK PR and Events Manager Paul Barker will be on the Paris show stand on Monday 12th October to talk attending media round the new models.
